COVID-19 (Corona Virus) Outbreak

COVID-19

A pandemic is spreading fastly, it’s impressive to see how each one of us is handling the ongoing explosion and uncertainties because of COVID-19. Firstly, we all are concerned about well being and health of ourselves, and of the people around us friends, family and our colleagues. These major concerns plus rapid development of global spread of virus globally and of the measure is being taken by the government bodies together make that hard work, and lots of creativity, as well as adaptability, are required to continue this operation. We all discussed this matter with our colleagues and line manager, but I would like to update you on some specific points-

Self-Quarantine Requirement:

As per the Government Guidelines, if any people are arriving from an affected area, then one should stay in a 14 days self-quarantine regions. One must avoid any gathering until the end of the isolation period. It’s important to understand that self-isolation is only applicable to people who are in contact with the virus. If any quarantine person feels well, they may go outside (by using private vehicles) for a limited period of time to take care of daily routine and necessary activities. But try to avoid rush hours of the day.

Personal Hygiene and Social Distancing:

Be socially responsible, if you are sick then stay at home and maintain good hygiene. We must keep respectable distance from each other, limit walk around or use hand sanitizer and wear a face mask when doing so, restrict the limit of the number of people in one room, don’t shake hands, avoid close contact with people, stay in touch with others by email or mobile phone.

Clean and disinfect your office or home to remove germs, practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. Wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your nose, face, and eyes. If the cleaning regime has again been increased than for any concern and suggestion please concert doctors.

One must avoid crowds, especially in an unhygienic place, because your risk of exposure may increase in a crowded area as well as closed-in settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick. Be aware and avoid all non-essential travel including flight, train, bus, or travel on cruise ships.

Worldwide cases till 12th July 2020 (08:32 AM) – 1,28,56,364

Deaths- 5,67,914

Recovered- 74,88,194

Lockdown:

Now every country which is affected are widely so angry and helpless why they didn’t take this issue seriously as well as lockdown situation must be at the moment the Chinese virus started. If Lockdown gets applied at the right time then we would have saved many lives, we want to know that why authority always acts late when crises are high.

When we know that we don’t have antidote of any disease at least such issues that are affecting the country, it’s a responsibility of WHO to advise all to Lockdown so that such a problem cannot be in the future. Universal lockdown is the only conclusion to defeat the virus until the vaccine gets invented. Countries which are in a strict lockdown gets unintended benefits. There are many people who are breaking the lockdown law are putting problems not only for them but for society as well. Basically, the main aim of Lockdown is to reverse the epidemic growth and reduce the corona cases by maintaining social distancing the entire population.
